I decided to do Angela’s six-word poetry prompt. You can find it here on her blog:
https://theabundantheartblog.wordpress.com/2017/06/19/poetry-six-word-challenge/
(Thanks for the idea, Angela!)
Here are her instructions:
To participate:
Write your 6-word definition, beginning with Poetry = and then add four more words to define what poetry means to you. The number of lines does not matter, only the number of words.
Either post it on your blog or simply write it in the comments below, your choice.
If you post it on your blog, then please include the tag Poetry in Six Words and a pingback to this challenge.
Then feel free to pop over to Sometimes Stellar Storyteller’s Six Word Story Challenge and give that a go as well. She posts a new prompt every Saturday. (also optional, but highly recommended)
Here is mine:
Poetry: Answer to my soul
Poetry: Guidance in all ways
Poetry; My connection to God
Poetry: Releasing fears behind me
Poetry: Penmanship to paper: beauty
Poetry: Modern poets need recognition
What does poetry mean to you? Please reply in the comments below. 😀
Love this! 😍 I think my favorite was, “Poetry; My connection to God.” ❤

I write poetry because it’s what I do. I don’t always like doing it . I like the way you took on the challenge.,
