Poetry and Musings

Here is my inspiration from daily post: Patience.

Patience is a lost art today. Think of a grandparent. They have the patience of a noon day sun. They are in no hurry to set but just basking in the glory the day has to offer. That’s patience to me. It’s equivalent to honoring someone’s time. But oh, what a shame it’s a lost art today.

  1. Dear Carly,

Without patience we easily tend to speculate on things, react often too fast and in an unjust way. So we have to train patience in all kind of situations – this will give us in return more self-confidence and the ability to see things from another point of view.
Thanks for sharing, my friend 🙂
    All the best

    1. I could have not said it better myself, Didi. Thanks for sharing and yes, patience is important because without it we can became critical. Like when you said, “speculate on things.” Have a blessed night, Didi. 😀

      1. Dear Carly,

Here, in Finland, it is just morning time, the days begins and winter is still present with lots of snow and frozen lakes. Nature here is so beautiful. You start your day with peace in your heart.
So, maybe you have night time right now? – if so, for you a good night and a well sleep.

      2. Yes, our night and day are opposite. It’s 3 pm now here in Houston, TX. What time is it now in Finland?
I have always wanted to go to Finland. I hear it’s so beautiful over there! It sounds picturesque of what you said above. 😀

It snowed in Houston, TX 2 months ago. Can you believe it? It rarely snows here if you know. It can get to 105 degrees in the summertime.

      3. Dear Carly,
Here it is right now 22:51. So you are 7 hours earlier. 105 is really hot indeed. Once I was in the USA, California, Nevada and Arizona – in Arizona there was place close to Phoenix with a temperature of up to 122 Fahrenheit – really hot, you can’t live there. In Finland we have seldom a temperature in summer of 86. In winters we can have even up to 110 minus in Lapland.
Now time to jump into the bed 🙂
So have a nice continuation of your day time 🙂
        All the best

      4. Wow, minus 110? That is cold. I have been in minus 2 weather but minus 110 is cold. And Arizona has the dry heat which is different from heat that is humid, you know? 🙂

      5. Dear Carly,

Yes, as I often go to India, I know also about the weather when it is hot and humid at the same time – this is something hard to bear indeed.
        Have great Sunday
