Message In Stanza

Poetry and Musings

It’s been such a dismal day. Lonely as the fog in the Houston air. The fog feels like heavy airbags resting on everybody’s chest. It looks so thick, it feels so heavy.

Sam just lost his son, Michael to the volcanic eruption in Mexico. Words can’t describe the emptiness he feels. He tries to pray but he is just too gloomy.  The fog reminds him of pictures he saw on the news of the Mexican volcanic eruption. Smoke billowing through the sky like an unwanted light show mixed with red hues. It’s been a dismal day.

That’s so true. The prompt often decided the direction of our writing.
