Message In Stanza

Poetry and Musings

Silence penetrates this room
Like a baby engulfed in a womb
Quiet is taken for granted
As soon the baby is born
Into this loud busy world
He or she is disenchanted

What was once thought as vital
Has been gone quite a while
The Beatles reflective tunes
Have long been replaced
With nightclub jams
Say good bye to those pretty afternoons

What is true purity, you may inquire?
It’s been dancing with the night’s mire
As soon you are born, your spirit yearns
For a destiny beyond the grave
But life is cyclical like clockworks
With every hand that turns
