They say life is short and sweet
But why does it feel long and bitter sometimes?
I try to wrap my mind around this paradox
I feel like an unpolished rock
Who will never become a limestone
I need a glimpse of Heaven, Lord
Of Your beautiful abode
So one day
When this sedimentary rock of mine will erode
Will become a limestone
We all go through refining process
It hurts, what’s new?
But it’s worth in the end
The chisel to the sculpture
It’s making you brand new

Hello, there: Look forward to reading more of your poems. I haven’t written as many as you, but now ‘I’m inspired.’ 🙂 I may make some simple video’s and add poems. ❤
