Come quickly, Lord Jesus

Come to free us

From this sinful life

Filled with dirty strife

Because you were nailed to wood

I know your nature is good

You are our comforting lamb

You are the Great I Am

I know this present age is coming to an end

As the new age is around the bend

Prepare our hearts, Lord Jesus

Even while we are waiting, we trust

Women in high heels on the street

Who are trying to make ends meet

Who trust follow this corrupt hierarchy

To those who are attached to depravity

People who lost their jobs

And by outsiders are called slobs

They are poor on the street

They try every day but feel the defeat

Some many cases of pain and brokenness

A world that’s a lack of love and bliss

So our circumstances remind us

That we need you to come quickly, Lord Jesus

Christ lives in us – he has never left us as he himself says: “I will stay with you until the end of the world…” – there is one thing we can do: To give our best effort to become a real human being – as otherwise many people take it as an alibi and say: “Christ has sacrificed for us and taken all our sins on his shoulder…” – so there are many and take this as an alibi to continue to sin… and it is also said: “God helps those who help themselves…” – When we make one step forward to become a better person, then God will approach us with millions of steps… This also means we have not to be lazy and let things go as there are: we have to do our best too and in this way, God wants to see our effort.

Yes, Didi, it’s all about pure motives. But as sin increases, we long for the return of Christ! We all continue to sin, because of our nature, that’s why it’s important to repent. We can try to sin less and less but as the time gets closer to Jesus’s coming, I believe evil will increase but so sin will increase. But good will thankfully, increase too. So it’s a necessity that we long up to Christ, you know, Didi? 🙂 :heart:

  We can send our prayers directly to Christ. He is not away and Christ himself said in John 10:30: “I and the Father are one…” Yes, rependence is important, indeed. How can we control our mind? – we have to go to our own roots, these are our thoughts – from our thoughts good or evil things have their origin – so when we notice there is any kind of thought in us that is negative, we have to reject it and bring us in a state of positivity. From positive thoughts, positive words and deeds will stem from and from negative thoughts – bad things will continue. A thought is like a stone that you throw into a water: it will have many ripples – this way or the other… Yes, in these days the negative power is doing its best to bring destruction into the world, but also the positve power is doing its best to be constructive. It already will help us if we keep our yearning and thoughts in Christ – also these ripples will have a good effect as nothing is separated.

  Yes, Didi, if we eventually decide as humanity to think and do only positive, what kind of morebeautiful world will we live in? As a Christian, however, due to sin, I still believe that perfection won’t happen until Christ returns. I love this thought-provoking discussion we are having too! 🙂

  I take Christ with me in my heart, he is with me wherever I am – as there is nothing existing outside Christ. The change begins in us as Gandhi has put it: “Be the change if you want to see a change in the world…” And there we can start, my dear friend, just with us to become a living example for our surrounding, it will be contagious like a smell of rose you get in touch with which will linger on us when we become in contact with such positive human beings.
  
  I am happy that you like this discussion – if we take the positive things from it – we will already be the winners, especially when we live up to ourselves.
  
  When our attention is in God at the same time our attention cannot be in the sinful actions/thoughts of our mind – the more we practise it, the less the mind can involve us in sins as in the presence of Christ even our mind would not dare to sin… This is not just imagination that Christ is in us, it is that deep yearning by heart to make him manifest in our heart, then ego and mind run away…
  
  It is true that this paradies on earth cannot be adopted by everyone, as we all have different understanding, education, reactions of the past, background etc. – but once the avalanche of a spiritual revolution is get going (and little stones can trigger a huge avalanche) – mankind in general may profit from it when the wave of understanding, harmony and love reaches the heart of many.
  
  So first of all, we have to understand our tricky mind – so that it no longer can wrap us in its clutches to commit sins – the more we understand this functioning (of course we have to be absolutely true to ourselves in this connection), the less it has influence on us. The strange thing is, dear Carly, that we often do not even notice how the mind involves us in its actions.

  Yes, you are right, Didi the mind is a tricky thing. 🙂 If we set our mind on things of this earth too much many times we set ourselves for a trap, unintentionally, of course. But it’s about training on mind to focus on the good things. Colossians 3:2 says, “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” While that’s hard at times, it’s important for our happiness and growth.
  
  However, I believe, it doesn’t matter how many times we try to train ourselves to focus on heavenly and loving things we will still fall short from time to time. We won’t arrive to perfection until we get to Heaven, 🙂
  
  But isn’t it amazing the loving “ripple effect” we can have on others by spreading love, joy and peace? 🙂
