Your lips curl up
You are thinking
Your nails are bitten down
You are nervous
This world comes at a cost
A great one indeed

You came from a loving family
And were raised with a silver spoon
You were always healthy
But you were sad
People tried to help
But they could never fill your need

Then one day you broke down
And lost everything
Your health
Your family
Your riches
You cried out for God to lead

You found God in your room
He touched your soul
Restored everything
But mostly that emptiness inside
He told you He loved you
And from that bondage you are freed
