“Starlight, star bright,.
First star I see tonight,.
I wish I may, I wish I might,.
Have this wish I wish tonight…”
Science tells us that all the stars
That we see are likely already dead
Does this mean that our wishes are
Dead as well, better left unsaid?
As I ponder this question
I notice something about the star
That I had been wishing on –
It was actually a planet named Mars.

I didn’t want to repeat myself to a ball of gas
And “planet bright planet might” just wasn’t the same
So I pulled the curtains over the window glass
And decided to sleep with the wish still in my brain.
If only I had a magic lamp like Aladdin
Maybe my wish could come true
But my lamp is electric and plugs in
And emits a soft…

There is an iceberg in your heart
And it’s melting slowly and quietly
But let it dissolve
Inside are the keys to your heart
You have a lead leg
And when you use your hands for talking
They glue together
But let it be heavy
Inside the lead is a motor
You act like you have it all together
But you know better
You use big vocabulary
You use bright facial expressions
But I know better
Let it go
And let it out
You are just a rope tied
To your childhood tree house
But you have been too tied to go up there and visit again

Divide and conquer
We live in a time
Where we are unsure
Should we build the wall?
Or let one, come all?
The leader is radical
It’s definitely not the time
For a sabbatical
Should the health care be better intact?
Should the poorest get a tax cutback?
We can no longer run
Everything we do
It’s seen by every nation under the sun
You want peace
Then do not beg, but teach

Here are pictures of the state flower of Texas: the bluebonnet. They are now just blooming:

Here is a picture of me by the bluebonnets:

Interesting Bluebonnet Facts:

We all have bad days. Today is one of those days for me. Nothing seems to line up for me. I know we all have bad days like this. But sometimes I wish a person could spend one day in my shoes. If they did and said, “Wow, you have a beautiful life but you have a lot of burdens to carry” that would alleviate many of my troubles. I have the ability to put one foot in front of the other but my biggest burden is feeling alone and misunderstood.
I am a worry wort. I worry about the weather, heights, spiders and changes in my routine. But sometimes I don’t always take ownership of these negative emotions. I just want to know my feels are valid and not usual.
Sometimes when I go on the freeway I worry about getting in a car accident and I don’t feel completely comfortable until I am back on the streets again. I have never been in a car wreck or even a feeder-bender before but I have the anxiety of someone who has experienced that before. Is this normal? I wonder.
Here is another example, I am pretty healthy but I worry about getting Cancer and Cancer doesn’t even really run in my family. But sometimes when I don’t eat like I should or exercise I worry about this. Is this normal? I wonder.
The only main health issues I have had is Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Someone with this condition worries about everything all the time. It’s a burden in itself.
I can’t seem to let go of my past mistakes, relational difficulties, verbal abuse I have experienced, and insecurities.
I write this to comfort others in the same boat. If you ever had a really bad day (I know we all have! ;)), feel like we always have to be strong and perfect at times or suffer from any form of anxiety or depression, please know that you aren’t alone.
Jesus was in the desert for 40 days and was even tempted by the devil. I bet He felt sad and afraid!
Here is a prayer for you:

I cancel any assignment of the enemy of your life now in Jesus’s name. I ask the host of angels to guard and protect you from the hurls of the enemy now.
Fill the person reading this now with hope. Take away the spirit of confusion and restlessness over their life now. Bring your beautiful sense of clarity and purpose back into their lives.
Remind them how they are either a prince or princess of the Most High God. And this Being doesn’t make mistakes. But makes wonderful discoveries and desires in seeking out for you. We are definitely the apple of His Eye.

In Jesus’s Name. Amen.
I hope this touched you. Please feel free to let me know your thoughts.
Here is my inspiration from daily post: Patience.
Patience is a lost art today. Think of a grandparent. They have the patience of a noon day sun. They are in no hurry to set but just basking in the glory the day has to offer. That’s patience to me. It’s equivalent to honoring someone’s time. But oh, what a shame it’s a lost art today.
