Flowers are ingenious beauties
Fragrance like heavenly air
Texture like the softest cotton
What if they could talk?
What would they say?
Would they cry out in despair?
Say they feel forgotten?
God birthed them into existence
He said to the ground produce vegetation
He blessed these seed-bearing plants
What would God have to say?
If He was right in front of you?
These flowers are dying from stagnation
And dying from chemicals like that of fire ants
Thousand of flowers burning in the rain forest
Vexation makes us do silly things
Land and profit is more vital than common sense
But flowers provide beauty, love and life
But is it too late?
Truth stings
So now is not the time to be on the fence
