Message In Stanza

Poetry and Musings

From sunrise to sunset
I don’t forget
To lose all regret
Watching these colors in the sky
Is as magical as looking into your eyes
Will you kiss me as the day starts to rise?

Misfortunes come and go
Like fallen snow
In a town like New Mexico
But you are like a promise
That cannot be forgotten
Your love is fresh, never rotten

Why must I suffer?
I feel so bent out of shape
With no escape

I am easily forgotten
But mistaken for
Being spoiled rotten

I may seem to have a lot
Of unimportant needs
But it’s the life I got

Father, send Your mercy
I am forever Yours
But Your grace hasn’t found me

This road is long and curvy
My heart is in a hurry
I am in a hurry to find You

Desperation is an awful trap
A ditch for the lonely hearted
Low confidence is on my lap

Father God, Papa, show whose Boss
To all my problems and worries
And nail them to the cross

Malnourished bodies under the sun
Scorched by the heat
There is a burning desire for change
But a lack of education and rights remain
You have got to carry your own cross

A lady missionary comes to share Christ
She has the heart of compassion richer than money
But money is needed to provide food
She learns to walk with the local government
She has got to carry her own cross to carry

The local government doesn’t like the missionary
They don’t like change
And they especially don’t like religion
They think it conquers and divides
They got their own cross to carry

Jesus wants things to turn around in developing counties
He said to give unto the least of these
Is giving unto Me
But people’s hearts are hardened and minds made up
He has got his own cross to carry

We have all got our own cross to carry
When darkness steps in, it’s outright scary
But you got to be a solider not a fairy
Stand up during these times that are hairy
Because heaven will flow in the land of honey and dairy

Sunrise

A lucid suprise

Ribbon of colors

Behold with eyes

I doubted my life

Now I don’t

The surreal love

Beyond the horizon

Love is more than words

It’s more than actions

It is both

A sunrise is love in action

You may have inner turmoil

Heart weeds in your soil

But beauty is there

Love is in the toil

I just got published online at ChristianDevotions.us. I am super excited about this. My second time being published online! 🙂 I hope you check out my published piece. It’s called: Let God Ask You Questions.

LET GOD ASK YOU QUESTIONS

letgodaskthequestions

A little teaser:

I question God.
My sister’s best friend Jenny died on her 21st birthday when she was hit by a drunk driver. In the short time Jenny was on earth, she accepted everyone and touched many lives with her smile. She had so much life ahead of her.
I asked God, “Why did You take her from this earth so early?” God answered my question with a question: “Do you trust Me, Carly? Do you trust Me that she is in good hands now?”

I praise You

You made the world in 6 days

You created the 7 billion who live now

You created the trillion of stars

You are truly the Father of all creation

Take away my selfish desires

I know my spirit fights my flesh

And my soul cries out

I think about the brilliance of You

DNA to the fragrance of a flower

I can’t create anything like that

And the art people create is a mirror of You

I praise You

The fast pace world we live in

Is nothing compared I believe to Heaven’s technology

But in Heaven the devil will have no authority over it

I praise You

Healing is Your essence

You carry the wings of well being

I long to take shelter in them

The Devil would love to harm

But You protect me

I praise You

I praise You for some many things

For You are the creator of many things

I praise You

Amen
